Greater speed of equipment cleaning and an important divider between dirty and clean production areas – the Oliver Douglas Panamatic 700 now installed at Wiltshire-based craft bakers, Haydens Bakery, has become a key focus for all production operations. The self-contained unit allows a wide range of equipment, from pots and utensils to machine parts, to be cleaned and, vitally, at a speed that can match Haydens’ 24/7 manufacturing processes – itself a clear reflection of the company’s success.
Industrial washing machine specialists Oliver Douglas have recently completed the installation of a Panamatic 700 utensil washer in the production facility of one of Ireland’s best loved brands. The Ballymaloe Food Company – linked to the famous hotel and cookery school – have been producing their signature relishes in their Cork premises since 1990. Increasing production at the Little Island site led Ballymaloe to seek a solution to the time consuming task of washing their pots, pans and containers by hand, and it was the Oliver Douglas line of Panamatic utensil washers that provided the answer.
Oliver Douglas, manufacturers of industrial washing machines, recently completed the installation of a Panamatic 700 utensil washer in the premises of an award-winning, London based cheese company. Milky’s are a family owned producer of Mediterranean cheeses and yoghurts, and the leading dairy supplier to Arabic restaurants and delicatessens in the UK.
Oliver Douglas, a subsidiary of Newsmith Stainless, enjoyed a successful PPMA exhibiton at the Birmingham NEC this October while exhibiting its most popular machine, the Panamatic 700.
The Panamatic 700 is one of a series of stand-alone industrial washing machines developed by Oliver Douglas and is now installed in more than 4000 facilities worldwide. Alongside other designs, including cabinet washers, one-man industrial tray washing machines and built-in conveyor systems, the Panamatic is available in a choice of sizes to provide a highly flexible and effective facility suited to washing an extensive list of production equipment.
Built to suit a wide range of industries, the Panamatic was able to demonstrate its versatility to a broad spectrum of PPMA visitors; from food processing to automotive industry representatives. Oliver Douglas and Newsmith will continue their exhibition season with the Panamatic this November, at the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition in Dubai.
